Jennifer’s Story

Jennifer came into the center for a test and some counseling. When she got back into the room, she started crying because she didn’t know what she was going to do. The man who would be the father was long gone and her new boyfriend was not ready to be a father.
She said she was considering abortion, but when we went over the information she asked me to stop because it was too difficult to consider. She had always wanted to be a mother, but felt that now might not be the right time.

We took a look at the inventory she had filled out and she had marked quite a few things. Jennifer worked through her situation by talking with her peer counselor and family, and really researching her options.
